This contemporary home in West Stow is one of our longest ongoing projects. At the front of the house, the formal living room has a warm, neutral colour palette, with velvet sofas from John Sankey and a textured Jacaranda rug. Coffee tables from Ligne Roset add a variety of warm, wooden tones to the space, while cushions from Designers Guild introduce pops of colour.
The ample natural light and warm wooden tones of the main living space, coupled with the open-plan layout, gave us a beautiful space to work with. A Beam coffee table and Lens dining table and from Dutch supplier Van Rossum unite the wooden elements, while a custom-made rug softens the space. Two upholstery pieces, a large sofa from Swan Italia and a lightweight, delicate Ruché sofa from Ligne Roset divide up the room. Continuing the neutral theme, TV dining chairs from Ligne Roset add texture to the dining area, complimenting the polished concrete floor. In the playroom, the iconic Togo sofa contrasts the purple and green finish on the custom Pianca bookcase.
Any of the fabrics from our extensive collection can be locally made into curtains or blinds. For this project, we chose Romo Black Edition fabric with a neutral body and subtle hints of colour and texture. Wave tracks from Silent Gliss have a compact mechanism that keeps the pole as discreet as possible.
The main bedroom is a soft, calming space, created by the textured upholstery and warm wooden tones. The sculptural and textural impact of the Ligne Roset Ploum sofa divides the room, creating a separate lounge area. The highly textured charcoal fabric is complimented by the Oxydation table; each one has a unique oxidised surface with subtle hints of yellow and green, which are echoed in the accessories throughout the rest of the space. The bedroom opens up to an outdoor balcony, furnished with a selection of furniture from Danish supplier Cane-line. The lightness of the Nest chair keeps the space open and accessible, while the quick-drying Cane-line cushions and rug add warmth and variety.
With a variety of outdoor spaces that needed furnishing, we used outdoor suppliers Cane-line and Softline to add seating and dining areas. Cane-line’s Conic sofa has a unique woven design, with dirt-repellent and quick drying cushions. In the bar area, Softline’s Loft modular sofa continues the bright, quirky feel of the surrounding space, finished with colourful cushions and strip lighting.
