Any use by you of this website is conditional on your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. We may make changes to our Terms and Conditions without letting you know so it is up to you to check for any changes.
To be eligible to order from this website you must be over 18, register in your real name and provide a valid address and post code. You must also have a valid credit or debit card provided by a bank acceptable to us.
3. Product Description
We take all reasonable care to provide correct descriptions of merchandise on our website, however slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow.
4. Product Availability
All products on our website are subject to availability. There is a delay between the time you place an order and it is accepted by us during which time the product may have sold out. If this happens we will notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the item.
If we find an error in the price of an item on our website then we reserve the right to refuse your order. We will contact you without delay to advise you of the correct price and to allow you to confirm the order at the correct price or to cancel the order.
6. Order Process
We will take all reasonable care to keep your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.
6.1 Placing An Order
You place an order with us when you press the ‘buy now’ button on our website at the end of the checkout process. We will send you an email confirming you order which will detail the products ordered. This email does not constitute an acceptance of your order with us.
When we dispatch your order we will send you an email confirming this. If you have opted to collect the item from our shop then we will send you an email confirming that the item is ready for collection.
On sending either of these emails your order will be taken as having been accepted by us unless we have notified you that we have not accepted your order, or you have cancelled your order.
Non-acceptance of your order may be due to one of the following reasons:
- A product you ordered is out of stock
- We have found an error in a price or a product description
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for you payment
- You do not meet the eligibility criteria for ordering
6.2 Telephone Orders
We accept telephone orders, please call us on 01603 765553 to place your order over the phone. We are open 9.30am to 5.30pm GMT Monday to Saturday.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Switch, Solo and Delta.
You confirm that the credit or debit card this is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We deliver to mainland UK only, if you are interested in purchasing from outside the UK please email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us on +44(0)1603 765553. Additional charges will apply for international delivery.
7.1 Delivery – Furniture Orders
Furniture lead-times vary, more information on individual product lead-times can be found in each product description. When the item is ready we will offer you the first available date for delivery in your area. This is normally within 2 weeks of the date we have contacted you to arrange delivery.
You, the customer, are responsible for ensuring there is sufficient access for the delivery of your items. We sell some large and heavy products that on health and safety grounds require more than a two-man delivery, if this is the case we will call you to advise of any extra cost involved before your order is processed.
If no one is present to accept delivery on the agreed delivery date and we need to redeliver, you will incur a repeat delivery charge. This must be paid prior to redelivery.
If you fail to accept delivery/redelivery for more than four weeks, despite us having contacted you to do so, you will incur storage charges of £10 a week per item. We also reserve the right to cancel your order and retain up to 50% of your order value.
8. Cancellation and Returns – Non-furniture orders
You are entitled to cancel your order if you wish to do so providing you exercise this right no longer than 14 working days after the day on which you receive your delivery.
To exercise your right of cancellation you must give written notice via letter to our store address or email email@example.com with full details of your order. Notification by telephone is not sufficient.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the items have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning your order to us at your own cost. Products must be returned to us no later than 28 days from the date you received them, unused and in the original packaging. We will be happy to refund the original price or send you an exchange, however in the meantime we ask that you take reasonable care to ensure items are not damaged before they are returned to us. Design House Norwich reserves the right to refuse a refund on items deemed unsuitable for resale.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01603 765553 immediately.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
8.1 Cancellation and Returns – Furniture Orders

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched we will arrange collection of the item and apply an appropriate collection charge.
Please note that your original delivery charges will not be refunded. A refund of the delivery charge will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
Design House Norwich reserves the right to refuse cancellation or return of items that fall into the following categories, unless they are proven to be faulty:
– Any goods that have not been returned to us in fully resalable condition
– Any goods made to a customer’s own specifications, made to measure or personalised items.
– Mattresses or pillows

Every effort is made to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects, however this cannot be guaranteed. Design House Norwich Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from failure for you to protect your password or account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account.
