Swedese

Founded in 1945, Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer. Their designs draw inspiration from elements of architecture, creating contemporary pieces that reflect traditional aspects of Scandinavian design. Swedese's headquarters and factories are still based in Sweden, where designers work to encompass 'Scandinavian Modern'. This is exemplified in their 1956 Lamino armchair which remains one of their most iconic designs, winning the Twentieth Century's Best Swedish Furniture Design Award in 1999.
